Cars You'll Be Driving In 10 Years
You may be behind the wheel of these concepts over the next decade.

What can consumers expect to see on roads by 2020? Lightweight and fuel-efficient sports cars; innovative design schemes; and powerful four-door sedans from some of the world's most exclusive luxury automakers.

China is already taking steps to increase car sales. Transactions are expected to more than double by 2015, according to an April 22 forecast by J.D. Power and Associates. Last year China's government awarded the equivalent of one-third of the country's gross domestic product to consumer-stimulus and bank-lending plans--which translated into roaring vehicle sales and record profits for many long-established automakers, according to the report.

Those automakers have got some special vehicles planned to capitalize on that fervor. BMW is hoping its zero-emissions Megacity Vehicle and GM its EN-V (Electric Networked-Vehicle) will become big sellers in Asia's big cities.

RE: Cars You'll Be Driving In 10 Years
The concept of zero emission is a farce. Most of us have been lulled into a mind set that tells us that we will at some point achieve it. What makes you truly believe this is possible? Think about it for a second and you will see just how crazy this idea is!
First and foremost, our entire society is built and run by petroleum. Every aspect of our lives is made possible by petroleum. Because a car does not burn petroleum makes you believe it is emission free? Thats a farce, each tire on the car is built and contains 8 gallons of oil. Every part of the car itself contains or is built with the use of oil burning equipment and or technology. Even the electricity used to power an electric car is generated by fossil fuels. There is no escape until the oil runs out. This is happening at a rate of a 9% decrease in production per year. Fossil fuel is also what has supported and made the population explosion possible, as the oil runs out so will our ability to support the world's population, we will begin to decline in number.
All of these future concept cars and other types of hype are just that, hype and bull.
Our current way of life will expire when the oil does, there is no workable alternate power source that will sustain the population as it now stands so I say we will never drive one of these future cars for the simple fact that there is not enough oil left to manufacture them.
